Nigerian Navy Sailing Clubs Holds 6th Edition Of The Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command Boat Race

On Saturday 27 April 2024, the Nigerian Navy Sailing Club held the 6th Edition of the Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command Boat Race in Navy Town, Ojo, Lagos.

It was a remarkable display of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Sailors from across the country showcased their expertise on the water, navigating challenging courses with precision and grace. The event not only highlighted the sailing prowess of the participants but also promoted unity.

Spectators were treated to a thrilling spectacle of speed and strategy, making it a truly unforgettable experience. The Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral Mustapha Bala Hassan who was the Special Guest of Honour promised increased funding for the club to improve its infrastructure and activities.

Many other dignitaries including senior naval officers, both serving and retired, were in attendance.
