Nigerian Navy Ship Victory In Collaboration With Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital Calabar Conducts Free Medical and Educational Rhapsody In Cross River State

On Monday, 2 December 2024, Nigerian Navy Ship Victory in collaboration with Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital (NNRH) Calabar conducted a free Medical/Educational Rhapsody in Adiabo Okurikang Odukpani LGA of Cross River State.

During the event, Educational materials such as Books, mathematical sets, biros and folders were donated to the pupils of Odupani LGA. Also, health talks were delivered which highlighted the importance of keeping our environment clean to prevent unwanted sicknesses and causes of hypertension. Additionally, dental care, antenatal care and general medical care were delivered to the indigenes of Odukpani LGA by the Acting Matron NHRH Calabar Lieutenant CN Aguwa. Lastly, Medical items such as free mosquito nets, toothpastes, toothbrushes, medicated glasses and refreshments were given to the people.

In attendance were the representative of the Governor of Cross River State the Special Advicer on General Duties, Barrister Ekpeyong Akiba, representative of the Paramount Ruler Odukpani LAG, HRM Etubom Otu Mesembe,

representative of the Executive Chairman Odukpani LGA Council RT Hon. Etim Asido and other members of the Odukpani traditional council.
