Nigerian Navy Volleyball Team Emerge Best Overall In The 2025 National Volleyball Premier League Presents Trophy To Chief Of The Naval Staff
On Wednesday, December 2025, the CNS Spikers presented the 2025 National Volleyball Premier League trophy to the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas (Admiralty Medal), at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja, following the team’s outstanding performance at the recently concluded competition.
The CNS commended the team for their discipline, resilience, and exemplary conduct, while reiterating the importance of physical fitness, mental alertness, and teamwork in achieving operational effectiveness. He described sports as a vital tool for building endurance, discipline, and unity, and encouraged the athletes to sustain their high level of performance while mentoring younger players.
Vice Admiral Abbas expressed gratitude to the team for the achievements in the tournament. The chief described the victory as a milestone for the Nigerian Navy.
