Nigeria’s DJ Obi Beats Guinness World Record for Longest Marathon Club DJing
Days ago, popular disc jockey Dj Obi (real name Obi Ajonuma) set out to beat the 200-hour Guinness World Record for Longest Marathon Club DJing as well as set a new record.
And he made it.

The disc jockey started this journey with the #DjObiWorldRecord, and now has not only beat the current record, he is aiming for an extra 40 hours, a feat that could be difficult to beat.

Yesterday, Bellanaija reported that the disc jockey was finding it difficult to wake so early as the pressure increased. To keep him going, his team came to cheer him, encouraging him to keep going.
Now, obi has made it and celebrating this feat on Twitter, he said:
“The moment we surpassed the current world record of 200 hours; its been an amazing journey – 9 days in; Thank you everyone! You all have been so supportive! WE DID IT TOGETHER!!”
Some of the stars already congratulating him include Mavin’s Don Jazzy and Choc Boy Nation’s MI Abaga.
