No Single Boko Haram In Chad – President Idriss Déby
General Idriss Deby spoke Saturday 04/04/2020 to the press.
“I can assure all Chadian people today that the entire island zone that borders with Cameroon, Nigeria and Niger, there is not a single Boko Haram today in Chad”, said Idriss Déby.
He said that the two essential commands (Boko Haram, Ndlr) in Lake Chad were taken over by Chadian forces. “They have seriously destroyed Boko Haram”, said the head of state.
According to him, ” the little that remains, either has returned to Niger, Nigeria or Cameroon. Our forces are behind them. They went back to Niger, they went back to Nigeria too.”
” Cleaning continues. It’s over for our country, so there are no terrorists now. Now we are inside the neighbors. We support them to end Boko Haram “, said Déby, adding that the blood of the fallen soldiers in Bohoma has been revenge.
