‘Olamide Gave Me Money to Shoot ‘Shake Body’ Video – Skales Reveals

Nobody knew how close Olamide and Skales were until yesterday when the Shake Bodycrooner took to his social media to reveal that the YBNL boss played a major role in his success as an artist.

In his posts shared on his Twitter, Skales revealed that Olamide funded the shooting of Shake Body, the song that earned Skales the global recognition he so deserves.

“Olamide actually gave me cash to shoot the ‘Shake Body’ video back then [because] I was super broke and couldn’t afford to shoot a video for that song,” said the singer.

And it is thanks to Olamide’s kindness, else American singer Alicia Keys and her husband,the music producer Swizz Beatz, may not have heard of Skales. Plus, the Nigerian singer has now gone on to collaborate with Diplo, and also earned a shoutout from Nicki Minaj.
