Parents of the abducted girls of Chibok secondary school have appealed to the Federal Government to do more to rescue their daughters from the hand of their captors. Some of the parents who attended a protest organised by the bring back our girls campaign in Abuja appealed to all Nigerians to unite in the fight against the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, for peace and stability to return to the country. They are also appealing to the government to provide the necessary support for international bodies willing to offer help in combating insecurity. It was another day for the “Bring Back Our Girls” protest, as protesters gathered outside the Maitama Amusement Park to hold their meeting for the day. They were joined by parents of some of the abducted girls.
One after the other, parents of the girls narrated how the news of the abduction got to them as well as efforts made to rescue their children. Report by Channels Tv
