The aviation industry has suffered another setback as Dana Air pilots embark on strike in protest of the non-payment of their salaries, grounding the airline’s operations and leaving hundreds of passengers stranded nationwide.
This is coming barely weeks after Nigeria’s largest airline, Arik Air, suspended flights owing to the picketing of its operations by the aviation workers’ union, leading to overcrowded airports and hundreds of stranded passengers.

According to the source, the airline had continued to sell tickets to passengers earlier today in the hope that the dispute would be resolved.
