Peter Okoye Brags About His New Act, Papii J To P-Classic Records
Peter Okoye has finally signed on his first act, Papii J to his record label, P-Classic, and also brags about how much talented his new artiste is. “Yes, peeps, he just got signed,” Peter Okoye revealed yesterday, adding, “Y’all know he is so so talented.”
Papii J (Ameh) is a popular drummer and has drummed for stars like Iceprince and MI Abaga, among others.
He is also the husband of dance queen, Kaffy Ameh.
This news sparked expected reactions from fans as many are worried that this is yet another indication that their favourite group – P-Square – is dying a slow death, especially because of the drama surrounding the Okoye family which culminated into the nasty feud that kept social media busy for weeks.
In 2014, after Peter Okoye floated his own record label, P-Classic, it caused some ripple in the entertainment industry. But before him, in 2013, his older brother Jude Okoye launched his own Northside Music Inc., and signed ‘German Juice’ singer, Cynthia Morgan, as his first artiste. And this January, Paul Okoye revealed the first artiste, Muno, signed to his own label, ‘Rudeboy Records’.
The P-Square brothers work more on independent projects now, promoting their personal works. And so when Peter Okoye revealed his first artiste, it sparked reactions from fans who are worried about the brother’s splitting up.
