Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL) and Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL) have reaffirmed their shared commitment to providing affordable housing for military personnel during a high-level courtesy visit held on 1 July 2025 at the FHFL headquarters, Abuja.
The meeting brought together the leadership of both organizations to reinforce their existing partnership and explore new avenues of collaboration toward their common goal expanding housing opportunities for personnel of the Nigerian Army and their families.
Welcoming the delegation, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of FHFL, Mr. Abdul Mutallab Mukhtar, expressed appreciation for the visit and highlighted the importance of working with institutions that exhibit discipline and effectiveness. “We are deliberate about our partnerships, and our decision to partner with you is because we have seen your work, your order, and organisation,” he noted.
In his remarks, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of PHDL, Major General Isaiah Allison, emphasized the urgent need to provide dignified living conditions for military personnel who risk their lives daily in service to the nation. “Soldiers give their best to defend the integrity of this nation,” he stated. “It is important for them to have homes into which they can retire at the end of service to the nation.”
PHDL and FHFL currently enjoy an ongoing collaboration focused on delivering affordable, quality housing for military personnel. The meeting reaffirmed this commitment and identified additional areas for cooperation, including joint ventures, financing models, and estate infrastructure upgrades.
Both parties agreed to establish a joint technical team to drive the partnership agenda and ensure timely implementation of all agreed initiatives.
The visit concluded on a note of mutual respect and renewed purpose, as PHDL and FHFL continue aligning efforts to address the housing needs of Nigeria’s heroes by honouring their sacrifice with shelter, dignity, and sustainability.
