POLICE FOIL BANDITS ATTACK ALONG GUSAU – SOKOTO ROAD, RESCUE 11 KIDNAPPED COMMUTERS

The Zamfara State Police Command has foiled a bandits attack along the Gusau – Sokoto Road at Dogon Karfe axis.

On Wednesday around 1pm, a large group of bandits blocked the Gusau – Sokoto Road at Dogon Karfe axis, kidnapping 12 commuters in the process.

This prompted the swift deployment of security operatives to the scene who engaged the assailants in a gun battle.

During the encounter, one of the bandits sustained severe injuries while the security operatives managed to rescue eleven kidnapped commuters.

All the rescued victims were reunited with their families.
