Pope Francis Gives Love Advice, Plays Matchmaker at Youth Jamboree
Pope Francis had a lot of surprise waiting for youths who gathered in a village near Krakow in Poland for the World Youth Day. The amiable Pope reportedly shared jokes and even offered love advice to the youngsters who gathered every night beneath the Archbishop’s palace window.
According to Punch, the event was dubbed the “Catholic Woodstock” and saw people visiting from China, Mexico and other countries. Punch adds that “400,000 young Catholics travelled from 187 countries around the world for the event and at least a million more people, many of them Poles, attended a lively papal mass on Sunday.”
And they they shared one-of-a-kind moment with the pontiff.
“Young people often ask me how to create a happy family. I propose three words. They are: please, sorry and thank you,” the 79-year-old pontiff said to the excited crowd, adding, “It’s normal for a husband and wife to fight, sometime plates fly… don’t be afraid of these situations.
“But never to sleep without making peace, because a ‘cold war’ the next day is very dangerous,” he continued, adding, “You always have to ask your wife or husband their opinion, and never to impose yours.”
