Post-Service Housing Development Limited’s Capacity Building Drive Targets HODs Leadership

Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL) has taken another strategic step toward improved efficiency by strengthening leadership capacity and accountability at the departmental level, with a Heads of Department (HODS) Training Programme held on Thursday 22 January 2026 at its Corporate Headquarters in Asokoro, Abuja, for all Heads of Department across the organisation.

Declaring the programme open, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer PHDL, Major General Isaiah Allison, stated that capacity building remains a central pillar of his leadership vision, noting that continuous training is essential to entrenching leadership, accountability, and teamwork in the delivery of the company’s mandate.

He emphasised that Heads of Department play a critical role in translating vision into action, adding that strong departmental leadership is key to transparency, operational efficiency, and improved service delivery across the organisation.

The training was facilitated by Mr Elvis Egena, Lead Consultant at Blissway Resources, who guided participants through interactive sessions on leadership, accountability, teamwork, communication and effective departmental management.

The value-packed event concluded with participants describing the training as practical and impactful, as management reaffirmed its commitment to sustained capacity development.
