President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the service chiefs to fish out the masterminds of kidnapping and banditry in the nation. The president mandated the service chiefs to be more proactive than reactive while carrying out investigation into the identity of bandits terrorizing the nation with the aim to fish them out.
In a statement released on Tuesday by the National Security Adviser, Major-General Babagana Monguno (retd.), he quoted President Buhari as mandating all the service chiefs to fish out the brains and sponsors behind kidnapping and banditry in the country.
Briefing State House correspondents, Munguno said that the president issued the directive during his meeting with service chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja ahead of his routine medical trip to London for a check-up.
He reiterated that President urged them to be more proactive in managing security challenges in the nation.
