Provost Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE) Ilorin, Bids Farewell To Posted-Out Officers, Charges Them To Maintain High Spirits and Morale As They Embark To Their New Units

In a highly regimented ceremony, the Provost of the Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE) Ilorin, Brigadier General Emmanuel Chidi Echebiwe, bid farewell to the posted out officers of the College, charges them to maintain high spirit and morale as they proceed on a new journey in their chosen career. He made the statement, on Monday 18 August 2025, during the regimented send-forth in honour of the posted out officers at the College Board Room, Sobi Cantonment Ilorin, Kwara State.

The ceremony that marked the end of a successful tour of duty, of the posted-out officers in the College, was well attended by senior officers, officers, Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM), soldiers and civilian staff of the College. The posted out officers included; the Acting Director Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance (D DAPQA) Major IA Usman and Staff Officer Grade 3 (SO3) DAPQA, Captain AT Asodike.

While addressing the posted-out officers, the Provost NACOE, Brigadier General Emmanuel Chidi Echebiwe, urged the celebrants to be focused, motivated, committed and resilient to their duties. Brigadier General Echebiwe, also encouraged them to make differences in their various units and formations by upholding the values of excellence, discipline, integrity and hard work.

He further enjoined them to be humble and open minded to learning and also to support one another as that would eventually promote the Nigerian Army Education Corps (NAEC) and Nigerian Army (NA) at large. The Provost gladly offered prayers wishing them best of luck, as they proceeds to their various units and formations.

Relatedly, addressing the celebrants, the Deputy Provost Administration NACOE, Lieutenant Colonel Veli Goje Burak, along with senior officers and civilian staff of the College, congratulated the posted-out officers for the successful tour of duty in the College as well as encouraging them to maintain high level of discipline and teamwork in their respective units and formations. He further wished them, God’s blessings, protection and guidance as they embark to their new units.

In his vote of thanks, the D DAPQA Major Ismaila Ajibola Usman, appreciated the College’s Provost for the fatherly advice and assured him to maintain the standard and live up to the knowledge and experience instilled in them.
