
Provost Nigerian Army College Of Education Strengthens Ties With Stakeholders In Kwara State
The Acting Provost of the Nigerian Army College of Education (NACOE), Ilorin, Brigadier General Emmanuel Chidi Echibiwe, has embarked on series of strategic visits to key stakeholders in the education sector and the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Kwara State Command. The visits aim to demonstrate the Provost’s commitment to excellence and proactive approach to building a strong relationships with relevant agencies. It equally is designed to enhance the college’s academic standard, aligned to it’s mission of providing quality education and discipline among it’s students population.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Echibiwe expressed appreciation to the Provost Kwara State College of Education Ilorin, Dr. Ayinde Shehu Jawando, the Zonal Director JAMB National Headquarters (Annex), Kwara State, Mr. Habeeb Mayaki, as well as State Comptroller NIS, Dr. Oladoyin Bewaji for their audience and dedication to the development of the College. He solicited for continuous support, collaboration and synergy amongst the institutions with a view to taking their respective institutions to greater heights. The Provost emphasized the importance of working together as key stakeholders in the State to achieve a common goal.
In their separate remarks, the Provost Kwara State College of Education Ilorin, Dr. Ayinde Shehu Jawando, welcomed the Provost NACOE and appreciated him for finding time to pay him a visit. Dr. Jawondo reaffirmed his commitment to support the College and pledged to continue cementing the strong existing relations between the two institutions.
In a similar vein, the Zonal Director JAMB, Mr Habeeb Mayaki, expressed his appreciation of the Provost’s initiative to strengthen ties between the two institutions. He also promised to continue collaborating with the college, building on existing relationship to achieve progress in improving the standard of education in the state.
Relatedly, the Comptroller, NIS Kwara State Command, Dr. Bewaji welcomed the Provost and thanked the Nigerian Army (NA) for always supporting the service at all times. She equally appreciated the Provost and his entourage for the visit. She stated that the Command is always ready to render support to the College at any point in time.
