Re-emergence Of Singleness – Ibinabo Fiberesima’s Marriage Comes To An End

It looks like another celebrity marriage has come to an end as Ibinabo Fiberesima took to Facebook to talk about the “re-emergence of singleness” for her.

In the emotional and lengthy note, the actress and former president of the Actors Guild of Nigerian detailed the many travails she survived in 2016 including the end of her 2-year-old union to Uche Egbuka.

Taking to Facebook to reflect on her life as she turns a year older today, the mother of 4 thanked her loyal friends and supporters who have stood by her through the years.

“You who have crushed the fakeness in friendships and stayed with your love for me in the darkest of times as amazing FRIENDS. Whether old or new, “ she wrote:

Going further, she divulged intimate details about her health, the horror of prison and the dissolution of her marriage as she noted that with 2016, the option of survival seemed questionable.

“From the shock of a 3 time presence of lumps in the breast to surgeries fighting for my life and the pain of a dissolution of a bond I hoped to keep with a life time partner and the re-emergence of singleness.”

“From the tension of awaiting a judges pronouncement to the horror of walking into prison over a cross accidentally acquired and carried for so long.”

Recall that Ibinabo Fiberesima reunited with Uche Egbuka, a sweetheart from her past, in what could be called a fairy tale meeting and the pair finally got married in December 2014.

The union brought respite to the embattled actress who was charged for manslaughter and reckless driving after she accidentally killed Dr. Giwa Suraj in 2006, and sentenced to a 5-year jail term by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.

Though she did not give reasons for the collapse of her marriage, we wish her well.
