Rear Admiral Hamza Ibrahim Takes Over As The 12th GMD/CEO Of Navy Holdings Limited

On Friday, 7 November 2025, a formal Handing and Taking Over Ceremony was held between the outgoing and incoming Group Managing Directors/Chief Executive Officers of Navy Holdings Limited (NHL). The event marked a significant milestone in the company’s history as Rear Admiral Zakariya Shaku Muhammad officially handed over the mantle of leadership to Rear Admiral Hamza Ibrahim following the completion of a successful tenure.

In his farewell remarks, Rear Admiral Zakariya Shaku Muhammad expressed profound appreciation to the Board of Directors, management, and staff of Navy Holdings Limited for their unwavering support and cooperation during his tenure. He highlighted key accomplishments achieved under his leadership, including improvements in operational efficiency, expansion of investment portfolios, and the strengthening of corporate governance frameworks within the organization. He encouraged his successor to sustain the momentum and build on the solid foundation already established.

In his maiden address, Rear Admiral Hamza Ibrahim thanked the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, for the confidence reposed in him. He commended his predecessor for his visionary leadership and pledged to consolidate on the gains recorded while pursuing innovative strategies for growth and sustainability. The event was attended by Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of NHL subsidiaries, senior naval officers, and other distinguished guests.
