
Remain Loyal To Authority, Redouble Your Efforts – MLAILPKC Commandant Charges Newly Promoted Soldiers
The Commandant Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre (MLAILPKC), Major General Ademola Adedoja, has urged newly promoted soldiers of the Centre to remain steadfast in their loyalty to the Nigerian Army and demonstrate greater commitment in the discharge of their duties. He gave the charge today during the decoration ceremony of 21 personnel held at MLAILPKC, Jaji Military Cantonment, Kaduna State.
The well attended military ceremony, saw the investiture of five Warrant Officers, five Staff Sergeants, nine Sergeants and two Corporals. Major General Adedoja in his remarks, reminded the soldiers of their oat of allegiance to the armed forces and the nation. He noted that they must continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discipline at all times. He urge them to avoid conducts and acts that contradicts the acceptable ethics and code of conducts of the Nigerian Army.
Furthermore, he congratulated the soldiers for their well deserved elevation, noting that promotion in the Nigerian Army is a reward for hard work and discipline. He commended the soldiers for their years of sacrifice, commitment and selfless service to the nation and particularly, their contributions toward ensuring the successes of activities at the Centre. He however, stressed that they must be prepared to redouble their efforts in carrying out assigned duties and be absolutely loyal to the Nigerian Army and the Command-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
The Commandant equally appreciated the families and well-wishers of the soldiers who graced the occasion, acknowledging their crucial role as the “backbone” of every soldier. He further expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, for his magnanimity in approving the promotion of the MLAILPKC soldiers as part of beneficiaries of the 2025 Nigerian Army promotion exercise.
The investiture ceremony was attended by Officers, soldiers, families, friends and well-wishers within and outside Jaji.
