SECURITY OPERATIVES ARREST TWO FAKE POLICEMEN IN DELTA STATE

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), on stop and search duty have arrested two suspected impersonators at the Head Bridge, in Asaba, Delta State.

The suspects are identified as Bankole Odusi and Samuel Idowu, both 49 years old.

Intelligence gathered that the security operatives had intercepted a Ford vehicle with REG No. 9791F7 with the two suspects wearing police uniform and T-shirt with police colour.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali made this known at a press briefing held in Asaba.

The Police boss said, “Upon search, A Toy beretta pistol was recovered from them.

“On interrogation, they initially said they were police officers, but later admitted to be spy police. Investigation is ongoing.”
