Senate Committee On Navy Pays Visit To Forward Operating Base Bonny
On Thursday, 24 July 2025, the Chairman Senate Committee on Navy, Distinguished Senator Olugbenga Daniel, accompanied by Honourable Members of the Committee, paid an oversight visit to Forward Operating Base (FOB) BONNY. The purpose of the visit was to assess the operational status and general state of infrastructure at the Base.The Committee was received by the Commanding Officer and was briefed on the operational activities, roles and responsibilities of the Base.
In his remarks, Senator Olugbenga Daniel commended the Base for maintaining a well-organised and clean environment. He also acknowledged the operational challenges highlighted during the briefing and assured the Base that the Committee would prioritise them appropriately in its legislative agenda.
