Sony Music Entertainment Africa Announces the Release of Jidenna’s Debut Album

Sony Music Entertainment Africa are proud to announce the debut album, The Chief [Wondaland Records/Epic Records], by seminal Hip Hop artist JIDENNA.

The stylish singer established himself as the part of the progressive Wondaland collective and heralded a new era of “Swank and Sophistication” with his instant hit “Classic Man”. The classy chief followed this single with Long Live The Chief (which became the unofficial anthem for the hit Netflix series Luke Cage) and the Afro-tinged cross-over smash Little Bit More.

In 2016 JIDENNA presented himself as the unabashed advocate of Pan-Africanism culture and conducted the first Inter-continental tour of Africa visiting South Africa and his childhood home of Nigeria, sharing his new music and engaging with the exciting musical ideas and artists coming out of the continent.
