The Chief Of The Naval Staff Annual Ramadan Iftar
On Saturday 15 March 2025, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla hosted the Annual Ramadan Iftar at his residence in Niger Barracks Abuja.
In his remarks, the CNS stated that this year’s Ramadan is a period for deep & sober reflection. He thanked all Nigerian Navy personnel especially the ratings who are in the forefront of Anti-Crude Oil Theft Operations & anti-illegal activities in Nigeria’s maritime domain for their impeccable professionalism in executing his vision. The CNS further described them as unsung heroes.
Finally, Vice Admiral Ogalla stated that “…as we put in our best, we need the blessings of the ALMIGHTY to give us good success hence the spiritual benefits Ramadan period are immensely important.”
He also thanked all the family members of NN personnel for their support.
In attendance were the Commandant National Defence College, Rear Admiral Morakinyo Olotu, the Group Managing Director Navy Holdings Limited, Rear Admiral Zakariyya Muhammad, the Chief of Policy and Plans, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dewu, and other Principal Staff Officers from Naval Headquarters. Also present were a cross-section of Officers, senior and junior rates of the NN.
