10 Years On, The Game Talks The Documentary, New Blood Money Tour, Cash Money And New Music With Wizkid
Catching up with The Game between his third and fourth performances on his Blood Money UK Tour, was a great look for us here at Factory 78. We were invited to West London to find out about the evolution of this man’s life before and after the success of his double platinum, debut album (The Documentary) released nearly ten years ago. Presenter, Gemma Feare was able to get into the hustlers’ mind as they spoke about his “living hell”; growing up broke, poor and hungry. One thing that this American rapper and actor does not lack is ambition- he opens up to Factory78 about trying to better himself after the birth of his first son and his ‘beautiful’ journey so far. Factory 78 also spoke to the Los Angeles Kingz- the supporting act to The Game on his Tour. As their mentor, he felt the UK would be a great platform for them and speaks about being able to relate to them on the West Coast Hip Hop Scene. The tone of the interview changes as they take things right back to 2003, where they discuss how The Game nearly signed to P.Diddy (Sean Combs) and how different things would’ve been. Although working as an independent artist now, The Game can’t help but reveal his future hopes, dreams and aspirations surrounding the Cash Money Label. He expresses just how much he would love to join ‘partners’ Birdman, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Drake and Tyga. The Game speaks about releasing three or four new songs with his ‘favourite African artist’ Wizkid and fellow hip-hop friend Young Jeezy very soon!!
