5 officers of the Nigerian Navy escaped a boat mishap in Rivers State on Monday.
Intelligence gathered that a jubilee gunboat with visual call sign JEF 5 on routine patrol along Opobo waterway capsized with 5 crewmen aboard.
Investigations reveal the tragedy was caused by a fire. Fortunately, all crewmen escaped unscathed.
