Gunmen have killed 10 persons, including two policemen, at Isu and Onicha Igboeze communities in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The assailants invaded the communities on Thursday, killed two policemen in Isu and eight others in Onicha Igboeze.
Among the eight victims killed at Onicha Igboeze were two lawyers. It was gathered that the gunmen also carted away the victims’ cars.
This incident is coming 24 hours after Governor David Umahi called on all those causing mayhem in the State to surrender their arms and embrace the amnesty offered by the State Government.
