Tyga Finally Speaks Up On His Breakup With Kylie Jenner

Tyga is finally speaking up on his breakup with Kylie Jenner.

Last time, when asked how he felt about their split up, he simple said he was ‘fine’. Now, the ‘Rack City’ rapper is saying more.

In his interview with radio presenter Big Boy, the father of one said dating Kylie Jenner took attention away from his career.

“I’m single. I’m enjoying life,” he clarified, “Being in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently.”

“It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things I worked hard for,” he continued, adding that they could possibly date again. “Later on in life, maybe we might come back, but right now I want to focus on what I need to do.”

On his ex Blac Chyna, who is now engaged to Kylie’s brother Rob Kardashian, here’s what the rapper had to say:

“People gotta let her move on. It’s not my life anymore. When you’re not with that person, whatever that person does after you—that’s their life and that’s their decision. That’s their bed. They gotta lay in. People can decide to love who they want and start life with whoever they want.”

“When you’re in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently than that, you know what I mean? And being in that, it just took a lot form me, you know, career-wise,” the rapper explained. “It overshadowed a lot of my talent, and a lot of things that I worked hard for.”

Tyga revealed the breakup was a mutual decision, and the two still respect each other — leaving the door open for a reconciliation in the future.

“I think it just got to the point where it was like, you know, ‘I respect you, you respect me,’ and you know…maybe later on in life, maybe we might come back, you know what I’m saying? But right now I want to focus on what I want to do.”
