You can only be Justin Bieber for Morgan Freeman to sit before a bunch of pressmen and recite your music lyrics but we must admit, he nailed it literally.
The veteran actor gave an epic rendition of Bieber’s hit song, ‘Love Yourself’ to the folks at Vanity Fair and received a ton of applause after that.
“For all the times that you rain on my parade, and all the clubs you get in using my name,” Freeman reads in his iconic baritone.
“You think you broke my heart, oh, girl for goodness’ sake, you think I’m crying on my own,” he says before a dramatic pause. “Well, I ain’t.”
Freeman has lent his voice to dozens of narration projects over his career, and often ends up as the voiceover storyteller in his own movies, like ‘Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘Million Dollar Baby’.
But there’s something about his booming, authoritative tone combined with Bieber’s angsty lyrics that makes this performance extra special. Watch for yourself:
