The Nigerian Soldiers cannot hide their joy as they celebrate the newly appointed Chief Of Defence Staff, Maj. Gen. C.G Musa. 

In a trending video shared by Hon. Zakary Funsho Yusuf MFR, the over joyous soldiers can be seen lifting up the new CDS singing and dancing.

Until his appointment, he has participated in various operations including OP MESA, OP Focus Relief (Joint Training/Ops with the US Troops), United Nation Mission in Sierra Leone, OP Restore Hope, OP Last Hold, OP Lafiya Dole, Multi-National Joint Task Force Lake Tchad, OP kantana Jimlam, Joint Task Force North East Op HADIN KAI.

It can be recalled that President Tinubu appointed new service chiefs together with Comptroller General of Customs and the Inspector General of Police noting that the appointed Service Chiefs are to act in their positions, pending their confirmation in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
