We Have A Collective Responsibility To Move Our Nation Forward — GOC 6 Division

The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 6 Division, Nigerian Army/ Land Component Commander, Joint Task Force, South South, Operation DELTA SAFE, Major General Jamal Abdussalam has stated that the task of moving the nation forward is a collective responsibility for all. He made this known when the management of Best Land and Sea Services Limited paid him a courtesy call at Headquarters 6 Division, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Major General Abdussalam, while giving his remarks, reiterated that the Division is not unmindful of the philanthropic activities of the company across the nation. He stated that the founder of the company who is a former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (rtd), is a great philanthropist and a highly respected general in the military circle and the nation at large.
He restated that the Division is looking forward to having a robust partnership with the organization.

Earlier, while stating the purpose of his visit, the Managing Director (MD), of the Company, Mr Dauda Danjuma stated that they were at the Division’s Headquarters to formally appreciate the GOC for the exceptional service of the NA to the nation. Mr Danjuma added that the ability of the GOC to effectively sustain the cordial relationship that exists between the NA and the Company is commendable. He further stated that the company has been in existence for a long time and specializes in drilling services.

Mr Dauda Danjuma said they have trained hundreds of drilling engineers for free, reiterating that there is no company that doesn’t have a product trained by their company. This he said is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility the company has undertaken over the years.
