Western Naval Command Hosts Dinner For Media Stakeholders

On Friday 10 January 2025, the Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command (FOC WNC), Rear Admiral MG Oamen hosted media stakeholders and friends of the Command to a dinner. The event was organised to mark the end of a successful year 2024 while hoping for a more prosperous 2025.

In his remarks, the FOC WNC highlighted the importance of military – media relationship in bridging the gap, eliminating misinformation and bringing positive results to the nation.

In attendance were media practitioners drawn from the mainstream media to online practitioners, the Chief Staff Officer WNC, R Adm A Baba-Inna, Fleet Commander WNC, R Adm I Mohammed-Katsina, Principal Staff Officers from WNC, Commanders and Commanding Officers of Units and Ships and other invited guests.
