Wizkid Cancels Several Shows After Impersonators Infiltrate His Management
Yesterday, Wizkid took to Twitter to drop a huge bombshell on his fans.
According to the Starboy, he has been forced to cancel a number of shows as a result of ‘a fraudulent data breach of impersonators who acted on behalf of his management.’ The 26-year-old also made clear who the members of his management team are.
See his tweets below.
Due to a fraudulent data breach, of impersonators who acted on the behalf of my management. We have had to cancel so many dates this year!

Wizkid was billed to perform at the 2016 Vestival in Amsterdam but had to cancel to the disappointment of his fans.
@Wizkidayo will not be attending @vetsivalglobal this year due to circumstances beyond his Management & Vetsivals control. #NewDateSoon

Sadly, this is not the first time Wizkid will be a victim of impersonators.
In June, the Shabba crooner was publicly called out by a London-based promoting agency for allegedly collecting money and failing to perform at a concert he had been booked for in the UK. It was later discovered that a 19-year-old girl had been posing as Wizzy on social media and had successfully duped several people.
Wizkid has recorded an impressive number of successes this year. From performing with Rihanna at the Crop Over Festival in Barbados to making music with Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys and getting his first BET nomination, so this is hardly a surprise.
Meanwhile, the singer got emotional recently after he shutdown Tanzania with a thrilling show.
