Wizkid Leaves Glo As They Sign Timaya As Official Ambassador

Yesterday, the singer took to his Twitter to announce the end of his relationship with the company, and this comes a year after the singer left MTN for the Nigerian telecoms company.

“Officially no longer with GLO, it was nice working with the amazing people at the company, wish the company the best in the future. Love,” the ‘One Dance’ singer said in his positive Twitter note.

Recall that last June, MTN dumped Timaya, Sean Tizzle and others and took on Wizkid and OC Ukeje.

In his Instagram note, Timaya explained that he expected a better offer from MTN but the company refused to improve the contract, and so he made the business decision to not renew his contract.

Now, Timaya has landed a Glo deal and he can’t help but brag.

“They say am proud now I know why cause I glo with pride,” said the Dem Mama Records CEO, adding, “Glo ambassador. Great Deal…. Thank u lord.”
