Wizkid and Tekno Make Peace After Messy Feud, Party Together

A new video making rounds online shows the singers hanging out together at a Lagos club, being absolutely cool with each other, months after their bitter beef.

In case you missed how the drama started: In July of this year, Tekno went off in a stream of Twitter rants after Wizkid dragged Davido for dissing him on Olamide’s song, Summer Body (they were having a go at each other and it worsened after Wizkid called Davido ‘frog voice’). And Tekno, who probably felt he was not getting any attention to himself, decided to beef Wizkid. Wizkid fired back, calling him ‘duckface‘, and that was how the Wizkid/Tekno beef started.

For days, the tweets stirred up the music community with many people slamming Tekno for buying himself beef that was never intended for him in the first place. And while everyone was talking, Tekno took to his Twitter to brand Wizkid an “animal”.

Banky W quickly called the singers to order, encouraging them to reunite.

“When you’re running a race, if you stop to throw stones at every dog that barks, you’ll never reach your destination OR you’ll get there much later than you should,” he admonished, adding, “Nobody wins when the family feuds.”

On his birthday, Tekno sent Wizkid a shout out, and though the Ojuelegba singer did not publicly respond, it seems they have finally ended the bitter feud because they were spotted yesterday, hanging out at a Lagos club.

And this has pleased many fans.
