You Must Sustain The Tempo – Commander Artillery Brigade Charges Newly Promoted Senior Officers

It was a joyful mood for family members and close associates of the senior officers from 32 Artillery Brigade, who benefited from the recent promotion exercise from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel in the Nigerian Army. The investiture ceremony took place on 29 October 2025, at Owena Cantonment Officers’ Mess Akure.

Making his remarks during the colourful ceremony, the Commander 32 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi congratulated the newly promoted senior officers for their elevation to the rank of Colonel. He urged them to sustain the tempo and continue to be loyal and dedicated as their hardwork has paid off.

Brigadier General Ifeanyi, also appreciated the spouses of the newly promoted officers for their support in keeping the homefront, which has created an enabling environment for the officers to excel in performing their duties effectively.

Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted senior officers, Colonel AY Ardo, thanked the Chief of Army Staff, for finding them worthy to be elevated to a higher rank, he also appreciated the Brigade Commander for his guidance and mentorship. He further pledged his unalloyed loyalty and unwavering commitment to take up the responsibilities that comes with their new rank.

The newly promoted senior officers are Colonel AY Ardo and Colonel MH Gombe. The event was graced by family members, friends and well-wishers of the newly promoted senior officers.
