Abba Kyari Remains A Super Cop, Allegations Against Him Won’t Work: 150 Outstanding Achievements Listed
Many well-meaning Nigerians are still grossly disturbed about the deep conspiracy to destroy the career of the notable super Cop, Abba Kyari, head of the IGP Intelligence Response Team.
The Federal High Court has already dismissed the initial baseless Hushpupi case since August 2022.
It ruled that the case against Abba Kyari lacks merit and that it is bereft of integrity and not done in good faith.
These were the reasons the Federal High court adduced in dismissing the HushPuppi case, as it relates to Abba Kyari.
Here is a Super cop that has risked his life, protecting Nigeria from kidnappers, murderers and terrorists for all these years across the country.
To his credit, he arrested more criminals than any other and refused to compromise with any of these thousands of criminals and kidnappers he arrested. He would have made billions if he had collected the $3 million dollars that a billionaire kidnapper offered him or many millions been offered to him to compromise thousands of other high profile cases he handled. Accusing Abba Kyari of taking a peanut bribe from a “yahoo” boy and scammer all the way from America should be wholly treated like a fairy tale because of its lack of substance and merit. Meanwhile, investigations have already cleared him of receiving a dime from any Yahoo boy.
Abba is one of the bravest, brightest and best cops in Nigerian history and he has proved himself over and over again when it comes to apprehending criminals, kidnappers, terrorists, etc., and combating crimes with the records of leading from the front and putting his life on the line.
Sadly, Nigerians seem to take delight in believing and assuming the worst about their best. That is part of the country’s problem, some hatchet men love and celebrate the evil but despise, hate and seek to pull down the righteous and good. What an irony!
The reality is that there are as many crooked, bent and killer-cops all over the world as there are good ones. America and several other countries have their fair share of both.
The only people that ought to take pleasure in reading the misinformation about Kyari are the kidnappers, terrorists and other criminals in the country.
Similarly, the allegation made by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) that Kyari and his men, unlawfully tampered with 21.25 kilograms worth of cocaine that they seized and voluntarily transferred to NDLEA from two convicted drug traffickers – Chibunna Patrick Umeibe and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwane – is a confirmation that they dealt in cocaine worth 17.55kg is yet to be proven. Subsequent scientific tests have proven beyond doubt that these allegations are completely false and fabricated.
While the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Wednesday June 19, 2024 reportedly dismissed a fresh application by Kyari to be released on bail, pending the conclusion of his trial, those rejoicing over that lack the knowledge of justice delivery system. They seemed to have forgotten that there is still room for an appeal. That someone was denied bail application doesn’t mean he is guilty as charged.
The same Kyari was released on temporary bail on 31st of May to proceed to Maiduguri for the burial of his biological mother. When the bail expired after 20 days, Kyari voluntarily returned to Kuje Correctional facility on June 6, 2024. How can anybody say such a person is a Flight Risk? The same Kyari refused to escape on May 7, 2022 when the Kuje Correctional facility was invaded by terrorists for over three hours, which resulted in the rescue of all the terrorists and release of all the inmates. Only Kyari and a few others refused to escape as 90 percent of the inmates had escaped that night.
For the price we owe history, we must be able to discern that allegations are a dime and a malicious indictment does not amount to a conviction.
Those who raised the allegations should present their evidence or better still keep their mouth sealed. The deep conspiracy against Kyari by his numerous detractors to destroy his career will never work.
Below is a list of the milestone achievements of the super cop, Abba Kyari, who celebrated his 21 years in the Nigeria Police Force on May 1, 2021 with the following milestones.
