AirPeace MD Replies Daddy Freeze For Calling out Pilots Misconduct in Port Harcourt

Yesterday, the media personality took to his Instagram to narrate the story of a rude pilot who flew off leaving passengers behind in Port Harcourt, including a mother and her child.

What is wrong with #Airpeace? Would you believe that because of a system issue they had in Portharcourt that ‘they’ couldn’t sort out, it was reported that the pilot allegedly shut the door of the aircraft in anger, abandoning 6 passengers including a woman with a child on the tarmac. Why would a pilot shut the doors of an aircraft and abandon the passengers that generate his salary? Was the fault not the airlines in the first place, as they were reportedly checking people in manually due to an alleged system failure!!! Those people came to the airport early and queued for hours for the 10.30am flight, which was allegedly postponed till 11am because of this same issue!

@iam_kcee the reason why I have not gone in hard on them is because you are their brand ambassador. Call them to order and let them sort those poor people out, or I will dedicate my entire show on the radio today to this unprofessional act.

He tagged Air Peace ambassador, singer Kcee to the post, demanding that the company resolve that conflict or he’d spend the rest of the day on radio calling out the unprofessional act.

Not long after he made the post, the MD of Air Peace Allen Onyema called to apologise profusely, and also promised to handle the issue.

#Breaking Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace Limited, Allen Onyema, called me a few minutes ago to apologize for what happened this morning in Port Harcourt. The Chairman/CEO who believes passengers should be treated like kings, assured me that #AirPeace would do its best to ensure that situations like these do not occur again. He went further to explain that it was the fault of the chief pilot who took the decision to leave, despite being informed by the Port Harcourt station manager, that all the passenger were not on board yet.

The Chairman/CEO also went on to inform me that he very upset with the Chief pilot, and was personally waiting for him at the airport to come and explain himself.

He then went on to brief me, that the passengers would be put on the next available flight and would be catered to, while in transit.

Rounding off, he told me that he was a hands on CEO who doesn’t take issues regarding passenger welfare lightly.

I thanked him for his prompt response. ——————

I was quite pleased with this and my confidence in #AirPeace greatly restored, Nigeria needs more CEOs like these. ~FRZ
