Another Black Man Shot Dead by the Police in the US; Video

Barely a day after the news of Alton Sterling’s death rocked the city of Baton Rouge in Louisiana, yet another killing of an African American has been reported.

According to Baller Alerts, Lavish Renoylds was pulled over by the police for having a broken taillight. During questioning, her boyfriend Philando Castile who was in the car with her was asked for his registration and he told them he has a weapon too, which he is licensed to carry.

However, as he reached for the license, the officers shot him four times.

“Lavish Reynolds of  Falcon Heights, MN used Facebook’s live stream feature to document cops pulling her over for a busted tail light. When asked for license and registration, the gentleman admits that he has a weapon and informs officers that he is reaching for his license in his wallet. As he reaches for the license, the officer shoots him 4 times.  A young child was also in the car at the time of the shooting. It’s unclear whether the man died. The video ends with the woman being put in handcuffs for unknown reasons. Then the stream eventually goes black and ends after 10 minutes.

The incident happened 2 hours ago. At the time of this posting, the young lady has not logged back on. According to the victim’s mother, he died.“

Reynolds’ Facebook has reportedly been deleted.

The police have yet to respond to this latest shooting.
