BAKOURA-LED BUDUMA FIGHTERS ARRIVE LAKE CHAD BASIN

Intelligence have gathered that there is a mass movement of Buduma fighters from Chad and Niger Republic into Lake Chad islands since October 26.

Intelligence sources disclose that the assailants, heavily armed, arrived at Loko Lybie village in Lake Chad, in about 30 canoes.

It is believed that their arrival at the Lake Chad Basin is connected with the ongoing supremacy battle between the Bakoura-led Buduma fighters and ISWAP.

Similarly, Intelligence sources disclose that terrorist elements have departed Garere and are heading for Gudumbali, Borno State.

The motive for this movement is unknown but troops and other security operatives are strategically positioned to foil and repel any attack from these criminal elements.
