Beyonce Emerges Only Celebrity on Fortunes Most Powerful Women List
Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter is a pace-setter who does nothing in small measures.
The vocal powerhouse just made the list at Number 51 on Fortunes List of Most Powerful Women.
On a list dominated by presidents and chief executives of major corporations, Beyonce shines through as the only celebrity to make the cut, according to NYDN.
Known around the world for her musical prowess, the mother of one who recently celebrated her 35th birthday, has launched several successful businesses including her athletic clothing line -Ivy Park and is making waves as an entrepreneur.
Beyonce also has a bit of experience in fashion designing; working with her mother-Tina Lawson, on the House of Deron fashion line way back in 2005.
She also partnered with a watermelon water startup, WTRMLN WTR which has recorded massive progress.
Beyonce sure earned her well-deserved spot on the list.
Fortune’s latest list is dominated by women running Fortune 500 companies, with many of their titles listed as Chairman, President and SVP —and as always Beyonce is in formation even in that circle.
