BREAKING: Police rescue kidnapped UNIJOS Professor and husband

Security Operatives rescued Prof. Grace Ayanbimpe of the University of Jos, who was abducted from her residence by unknown gunmen on Monday morning.

Intelligence reported that the assailants stormed the residence of the University Don in the early hours of Monday and whisked her away, alongside her husband.

Spokesman of Plateau Police Command, Ubah Ogaba, who confirmed their rescue, said the victims were released unhurt.

He said; “With the concerted efforts of the Police Tactical team Plateau State Command, Hunters and Vigilantes, the Kidnapped victims Prof Grace Ayanbimpe and her husband Mr Isaac Ayanbimpe were released unhurt.”
