Buhari to declare for presidency October 8

Former Head of State of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has formally confirmed that he would be running for the presidency in 2015 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Buhari said he decided to run because the Peoples Democratic Party-led administrations from 1999 till date had not done enough to develop the country.
The former head of state, who was speaking when he addressed about 60 different groups urging him to run for the presidency, said he would make his declaration formal on October 8.
He had contested presidential election on three previous occasions, but lost to the PDP candidates.
