‘I Can’t be Broken’ – Femi Fani-Kayode’s Fiancée Precious Speaks Up for the First Time Since His Arrest

Femi Fani-Kayode’s fiancée, Precious Chikwendu, is opening up for the first time since EFCC arrested her politician beau earlier this month.

The former beauty queen, who turns a year older today, took to her Instagram page this morning to share a picture of herself and thank God for adding another year to her life. Precious, who will be celebrating her birthday without her fiancé, revealed that she can’t be mad or broken, adding that she refuses to feel any pain.

Fani-Kayode, who was a former minister of Aviation and the spokesman for the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation was arrested on May 9 for allegedly receiving N2.5bn during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election. Two days ago, the EFCC was granted leave by a Lagos Magistrate’s Court to hold the ex-minister for another 3 weeks following a fresh 30-day remand order.

Addressing the allegations against him, Fani-Kayode had this to say, “I am not a thief. I served in the Jonathan Presidential Campaign Organisation out of loyalty and not for profit. He then added that God never forsakes his own especially so when they have done no wrong.

Femi and Precious welcomed a baby boy and the politician’s first son in February this year.
