Chairperson NAOWA 3 Division Chapter Visits GOC 3 Division, Reaffirms Commitment To Personnel Welfare

As part of activities marking her assumption of office, the Chairperson of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), 3 Division Chapter, Mrs Dorathy Maxwell-Dangana, on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Operation ENDURING PEACE, Major General Maxwell Dangana, at the Headquarters 3 Division, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, Jos.

Speaking during the visit, Mrs Maxwell-Dangana congratulated the GOC on his well-deserved appointment and reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to improving the welfare of military families and supporting the less privileged within the barracks community. She highlighted several impactful projects executed by NAOWA chapters across the country and outlined the 3 Division Chapter’s areas of focus, key concerns, and future programmes aimed at enhancing the quality of life of personnel and their families. She also expressed appreciation to the GOC and commanders of the Division for the warm reception accorded to her and her entourage.

In his remarks, Major General Dangana thanked the Chairperson and members of her delegation for the courtesy visit and commended the Association for its humanitarian and welfare-oriented initiatives. He reaffirmed his unwavering support for the activities of the 3 Division Chapter, assuring the Chairperson of the Division’s commitment to providing the necessary assistance to enable the Association achieve its objectives and successfully implement its planned programmes.

Highlights of the visit included the presentation of souvenirs, the signing of the visitors’ book, and a group photograph.
