Change Of Guard At Sector 3 Of Operation Hadin Kai
Brigadier General SS Ahmed on Thursday, 21 May 2026, took over command of Sector 3 Operation HADIN KAI/Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) from Major General SS Tilawan during a change of command ceremony held at the Headquarters Sector 3, Monguno.
In his farewell remarks, Major General SS Tilawan appreciated officers and soldiers for their support, loyalty and commitment during his tenure. He attributed the successes recorded in the Sector to teamwork and urged personnel to give maximum cooperation to the new Commander in order to sustain ongoing operations.
In his remarks, Brigadier General SS Ahmed acknowledged the contributions of his predecessor and pledged to consolidate on the gains recorded in the Sector. He stated that his priorities would include professionalism, discipline, operational efficiency and troop welfare.
The ceremony, held at the Headquarters Sector 3, Monguno, featured the inspection of a Quarter Guard and group photographs, marking the formal transfer of command.
