Chief Of Air Staff Visits Nigerian Air Force Units In Abuja, Commends Resource Management, Urges Mentorship, Discipline

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) has conducted operational visit to Nigerian Air Force (NAF) units within the Abuja area, expressing satisfaction with the proper management of resources and facilities by the respective commanders. During the visits, the CAS commended the various commanders for their judicious use of resources, highlighting their efforts as exemplary in maintaining operational readiness and efficiency. He emphasized that effective resource management is critical to achieving the objectives of the Nigerian Air Force, especially in the current security environment.

In his remarks, the CAS emphasized the importance of instilling the right attitude among personnel. He called on commanders to lead by example, ensuring that their leadership inspires dedication, professionalism, and a sense of duty within their ranks. Additionally, the CAS stressed the need for mentorship within the service, urging senior officers to actively guide and nurture the next generation of NAF personnel. Units visited include the 101 Presidential Air Fleet, 307 Executive Airlift Group, Military Airport Commandant Office at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, 063 NAF Hospital, Nigerian Air Force Works Centre, and Air Force Girls Comprehensive School.
