Chief Of Army Staff Graces Regimental Dinner Night In Honour Of Past Corps Commanders Of The Nigerian Army Finance Corps
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, (Nigerian Army Medal), graced the Regimental Dinner Night organised in honour of past Corps Commanders and retired senior officers of the Nigerian Army Finance Corps.
The stately event, held on Thursday, 5 February 2026, at the Headquarters Command Finance Office Parade Ground, Arakan Cantonment Apapa, Lagos, was steeped in military tradition and pageantry, reflecting the customs, heritage and esprit de corps of the Nigerian Army. The occasion provided an avenue to honour distinguished service, reinforce regimental bonds and celebrate the enduring legacy of leadership within the Nigerian Army Finance Corps.
Dignitaries in attendance included the immediate past Chief of Accounts and Budget (Army), Major General AA Fayemiwo; Principal Staff Officers from Defence and Army Headquarters; Formation Commanders; the Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Finance and Accounts; as well as retired senior officers of the Nigerian Army Finance Corps.
