Chief of Military Intelligence Army Personnel On Security Awareness

The Acting Chief of Military Intelligence (CMI) Brig Gen TB Ugiagbe has sensitized personnel of 1 Division on security awareness.The sensitization lecture which covered personnel security, security of information, security of documents and defence policy on social media among others held today 19 October 2023 at the 1 Division’s Auditorium, Kaduna.

In his remarks, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division NA and Force Commander Operation WHIRL PUNCH, Maj Gen VU Okoro reiterated the importance of the lecture considering the evolving security situation across the country as a result of the changing dynamics of threats. He urged all the participants to listen attentively to the lecture in order to drive the maximum benefit. He used the avenue to welcome the Special Guest of Honour and Commandant NDA Maj Gen JO Ochai and the esteemed resource person for finding time to be at the Division’s headquarters despite their tight schedules. He appreciated the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen TA Lagbaja for his continues support to the Division.

In his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour and Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy Maj Gen JO Ochai expressed his delight to be at the lecture and thanked the Guest Speaker for a well packaged and brilliant lecture. He said the lecture was brought down to the lower individual’s understanding just as he implored senior officers and other participants to act accordingly in the course of discharging their duties and responsibilities.

In attendance were the Special Guest of Honour and Commandant NDA Maj Gen JO Ochai, the GOC 1 Division Maj Gen VU Okoro, principal staff officers from 1 Division and Nigerian Defence Academy including the Academy Provost and other senior officers.
