Chief Of Naval Staff Conducts Inspection Tour Of Nigerian Navy Logistics College Dawakin Tofa Kano State
On Saturday 20 December 2025, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas (Admiralty Medal) conducted an inspection tour of Nigerian Navy Logistics College (NNLC) domiciled in Dawakin Tofa, Kano State.
NNLC was established in December 2022 and formally commissioned by former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR in May 2023. The College serves as the primary professional training institution for all naval personnel in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and other associated courses.
On arrival, the CNS was received by the Commandant of the College, Commodore Abubukar Ahmad Madawaki who gave a detailed brief of the College programs, challenges and future plans. Thereafter the CNS went round the facilities. Since the College is about 3 years old, areas of further development were noted. The CNS commended the Commandant and his team for the good work they were doing in training personnel of the Logistics Branch.
The CNS was accompanied by the Chief of Logistics, Rear Admiral SH Abdullahi, the Chief of Training, Rear Admiral AM Haruna and the Director Project Implemented Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Rear Admiral MY Dahiru.
