Chris Brown Surrenders To Police For Allegedly Assaulting A Woman
PEOPLE confirms that singer Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
According to reports, Brown was taken into custody in the wee hours of this morning(late Tuesday in America), and has been transported to downtown police headquarters where he will be booked.
Brown finally exited his Los Angeles home yesterday evening after giving the police a 9-hour wait, as they had no warrant. He is said to have peacefully co-operated with the police.
In case you missed the story, Chris Brown was accused of threatening a woman with a gun yesterday morning after she made a 911 call to the police. A SWAT team then stormed Breezy’s home hours later to search it but the singer refused to let them in since they had no warrant.
Chris also took to his Instagram page to shut down the assault claims in a series of videos. “I ain’t did sh*t, I ain’t going to do sh*t. And it’s always going to be be f*ck the police black lives matter nigga” he said.
Meanwhile, the lady who accused the 27-year-old singer of pulling a gun on her has been identified as beauty queen, Baylee Curran. Speaking to TMZ, Baylee claimed Brown threatened her with a gun after she admired a piece of jewellery while partying at his home on Monday night. You can read all about it here.
